Marc M. Baranson, is a 48 year Veteran of the financial services business. He started his career with New England Financial in 1972 after leaving an industry where he worked in the field of electronics for a major chemical firm. He started Benefit Concepts. Ltd. in 1986 to focus on his passion of executive benefits and employee benefit planning. Since then, he has earned many prestigious industry awards. With his primary company, New England Financial, he has earned their highest agent award, the Vanguard Award. He is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table and has earned his CLU designation (Chartered Life Underwriter). In 1989 he completed the educational requirements to become a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS). Marc also earned the Chartered Advisor Senior Living (CASL), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), and the Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC), all from the American College. He is a Registered Representative of New England Securities. Marc became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant from the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards in 2000.

Marc co-authored an article on the concept of split-dollar life insurance published in the May 1989 issue of the CLU Journal. He has served the Buffalo Life Underwriters as President and has been a member of the State Board. He has assisted the Life Underwriters Training Council by teaching business insurance courses. He has conducted and spoken at innumerable seminars. In 1992 he was an honored speaker at the Million Dollar Round Table annual meeting, speaking on the subject of flexible benefits.

Marc has many avocational interests that include squash, golf, travel and flying. He holds a commercial pilot’s certificate and enjoys flying his Piper Saratoga. He is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight America and Volunteer Pilots Association, national non-profit organizations that fly transplant organs, medical patients, patients who have a final wish, emergency personnel and supplies during a national disaster. He is married and has two children.
